We aren’t out of the woods yet. Donald Trump is capable of fomenting the coup d’etat he has been plotting. The next month is going to be very interesting.
There some things all presidents inherit from their predecessors. A hostile climate retaliating for centuries of human degradation is not usually one of them.
Going “back to brunch” could almost guarantee a Republican rout in mid-term elections in two years and even a Republican worse–and more competent–than Donald Trump succeeding Joe Biden.

There are so many reasons to get out the vote this year more than ever. Democracy is on the ballot. That includes the fate and future of Social Security.
